The ShootOut is an all-day event when photographers are given three topics to shoot, download, select, process and edit for competition! Two divisions: “Straight out of the camera” and “Edited.” Winning images in each division are shown on a screen; cash prizes are awarded. It is an inner club activity open only to members of BPG.
The ShootOut is a perfect opportunity to test skills and to practice the full photo process from capture to output. This was a fun day with fellow members and will be repeated in 2017.
The Booth Photography Guild held its first intra-club ShootOut on June 18, 2016, Saturday, in Cartersville, at 8:30 a.m. at the TRC building on Gilmer Street, one block south of the Booth Museum.
