SUMMARY:Paul Daniel – Beyond The Snapshot
DESCRIPTION:Speaker will be in person in the theatre.\nFebruary 14\, 2026\, 10:00-12:00  \n \n \nA few words from Paul\nI enjoy shooting all types of photography\, but the two genres that are probably my bread and butter would be cityscapes and architectural photography. I love waking up early in the morning to shoot a sunrise just over a city’s skyline\, or shooting the golden hour sun glow off an architect’s creation.  \nI am a freelance and urban landscape photographer based in Atlanta\, Georgia\, and I am also the cohost of View Finders tv show on PBS.

SUMMARY:Paul Peterson: Adding More Eternal Impact to Your Photography
DESCRIPTION:Starting with film in the late ‘70s\, Paul advanced to pocket digital cameras in 2000 and then mirrorless cameras with interchangeable lenses in 2016. Paul worked on improving his eye for composition\, camera settings knowledge\, and editing skills all along. Since 2016\, Paul’s interest has moved progressively from nature and landscapes to candid shots of people\, especially at sports events. This talk will explain why. Previously\, Paul presented his “A Broader Scope of Photography” talk to several local groups\, including BPG. \n· Subject/Title of the talk: Adding More Eternal Impact to Your Photography \n· Summary of the talk (Brief): This will likely be different from any presentation BPG has ever seen. Hopefully it inspires fellow photographers of faith to consider how they may take a fresh approach to their craft — not necessarily the specific application adopted\, but applying the same principle to come up with their personal spin. People of a different faith tradition or no professed faith at all are also likely to find this talk worth their time. \n come up with their personal spin. People of a different faith tradition or no professed faith at all are also likely to find this talk worth their time.
