DESCRIPTION:Speaker will be in person in the theatre.\n\n\nClay Fisher \nPhoto Images\, LLC  \nAnatomy of a Project  \nExhibited at Blue Heron Nature Preserve\, Atlanta\, Ga.; Georgia State Capital\, galleries and businesses throughout Georgia and Tennessee\, as well as published in newspapers and magazines. \nClay enjoys photographing a variety of subjects including people\, nature\, architecture\, landscapes and other themes using digital and analog methods. His favorite forms of photography are nature and travel – having taken him to many National Parks\, Georgia State Parks\, and National Forests. His body of work captures the diversity\, complexity and reverence often overlooked by the human eye within these natural places. \nHis more recent project\, titled For the Birds\, was exhibited earlier this year at the Blue Heron Nature Preserve in Atlanta\, Ga. \nFor this presentation\, Clay will explore how photographers can start to create something that is more deeply rewarding and realistically attainable with their images. \nHe will explain why the answer to this important question can be found in the creation of a personal photography project. To illustrate his presentation\, he will share a few personal project examples along with the supporting images and discuss how the journey of creating a personal project can be both a positive and rewarding experience. \nCome and learn how such an intentional project can improve your overall work and help you grow as a photographer. \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Speaker will be in person in the theatre.\nCody S. Brothers \nWestern Analog Photographer \nCody S. Brothers is a native New Mexican photographer currently residing in Pecos\, NM. He and his wife Nikkol are the owner operators of Visions Photo Lab in Santa Fe\, NM. His photographic journey began as an adolescent when his grandfather gave him a Canon AE-1 after returning from a voyage overseas. \nHe proceeded to learn how to operate the camera to capture images as references for drawings and paintings. His early artistic influences centered mostly around painters; Da Vinci\, Dali\, Delacroix\, and Picasso. However\, he was inspired at a very young age to pursue adventures to many of the iconic locations and National Parks of the West\, because of the black and white imagery of photographers such as\, Adams\, Gilpin\, Strand and Weston. \n

DESCRIPTION:Speaker will be in person in the theatre.\nFine Art \nI’m Lisa Hill; a creative professional\, entrepreneur\, family historian\, and educator. I take a camera wherever I go – thank goodness for iPhones! \nDay to day\, when I’m not working with clients\, I’m searching for new and creative ways to create a vision for my next portrait session. I love exploring Atlanta in search of fun backdrops and interesting landscapes. \nI specialize in High School Senior photography. My favorite thing about photographing seniors is their creativity\, sense of adventure\, and their excitement for the future. No two sessions are ever the same. \nI’m passionate about capturing the story of every person I photograph. It’s the unscripted moments that create the essence of my work. \nWhen I’m not behind the camera\, I’m an active community volunteer\, archive family photos\, and love to read. I discovered a new passion for photographing wildlife and nature during the pandemic and now search for my next birding adventure. These new photos show up on notecards and calendars\, which you can find under the Fine Art tab in the menu! \nI live in Atlanta with my husband\, Todd\, our dog Aine (pronounced “awn-yah” – the name of the Irish Celtic goddess of summer)\, and our sweet kitty Sadie Ruth. I have two adult daughters who have grown up in front of my camera. \nAnd I’m always dreaming of being at the beach. \n  \n“To me\, photography is an art of observation.
