DESCRIPTION:Speaker will be in person in the theatre.\nCody S. Brothers \nWestern Analog Photographer \nCody S. Brothers is a native New Mexican photographer currently residing in Pecos\, NM. He and his wife Nikkol are the owner operators of Visions Photo Lab in Santa Fe\, NM. His photographic journey began as an adolescent when his grandfather gave him a Canon AE-1 after returning from a voyage overseas. \nHe proceeded to learn how to operate the camera to capture images as references for drawings and paintings. His early artistic influences centered mostly around painters; Da Vinci\, Dali\, Delacroix\, and Picasso. However\, he was inspired at a very young age to pursue adventures to many of the iconic locations and National Parks of the West\, because of the black and white imagery of photographers such as\, Adams\, Gilpin\, Strand and Weston. \n

DESCRIPTION:Speaker will be in person in the theatre.\nFine Art \nI’m Lisa Hill; a creative professional\, entrepreneur\, family historian\, and educator. I take a camera wherever I go – thank goodness for iPhones! \nDay to day\, when I’m not working with clients\, I’m searching for new and creative ways to create a vision for my next portrait session. I love exploring Atlanta in search of fun backdrops and interesting landscapes. \nI specialize in High School Senior photography. My favorite thing about photographing seniors is their creativity\, sense of adventure\, and their excitement for the future. No two sessions are ever the same. \nI’m passionate about capturing the story of every person I photograph. It’s the unscripted moments that create the essence of my work. \nWhen I’m not behind the camera\, I’m an active community volunteer\, archive family photos\, and love to read. I discovered a new passion for photographing wildlife and nature during the pandemic and now search for my next birding adventure. These new photos show up on notecards and calendars\, which you can find under the Fine Art tab in the menu! \nI live in Atlanta with my husband\, Todd\, our dog Aine (pronounced “awn-yah” – the name of the Irish Celtic goddess of summer)\, and our sweet kitty Sadie Ruth. I have two adult daughters who have grown up in front of my camera. \nAnd I’m always dreaming of being at the beach. \n  \n“To me\, photography is an art of observation. DESCRIPTION:OUTING –\nJoin us in Cartersville at the ACT 1 Studio to photograph a ” Full Dress Rehearsal” of the musical production of ‘Death Takes a Holiday’.  \n Wednesday\, February 26\, 2025 \n6:45 pm \nRSVP to David Lychenheim by Feb. 24th \nactive email: scubasaver2002@yahoo.com \n  \nThe Booth Photography Guild has been invited by the ACT 1 Studio in Cartersville to photograph a full dress rehearsal of the production o ‘Death Takes a Holiday”. \n This is your opportunity to experiment photographing live on-stage actors. Be prepared for low light conditions.  Please do not use any flash and keep movement/noise to a minimal so we don’t distract the performers. \nThis particular theatre is smaller and will provide more closeup photos. \n  \nDate: Wednesday\, Feb. 26\, 2025  \nNote: Dress rehearsals usually last longer than they estimate \nArrival time: 6:45 pm Please meet at the theater entrance. \nMeeting Location: ACT 1 Studio \n81 Peeples Valley Rd SE STE 102 \nCartersville\, Georgia 30121 (near the Savoy Automobile Museum) \nAs soon as you are finished photographing the rehearsals the Director and performers would love for us to provide them with some photos. Those who are interested in sharing some of their images\, I will gladly post them on my webpage for them to view and download. Each photographer’s images will be identified by name. \n  \nOUTING FOLLOW UP \nPost Outing: After the event\, show off your images.
