SUMMARY:BPG Exhibition - Notification of Jurying Results
DESCRIPTION:This is the big day when the email goes out to inform BPG members if they made “the cut.” We are keeping our fingers crossed for you! \nAbout The Exhibition \nThe Booth Museum hosts an Exhibition of approximately 40 BPG member images on public display each Fall (mid August to mid November). The Exhibition consists of museum quality framed photographs hung in the Booth Museum’s Borderlands Gallery. \nThe Exhibition follows strict criteria. Images are juried into the Exhibition via digital submissions of up to five images per photographer. There are no photo categories. Composite photographs are welcome. Two experienced non-member judges anonymously jury/judge entries and choose winners who earn cash\, ribbons\, and certificates. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn the spirit of learning\, Exhibition-focused mentoring sessions help members narrow down entries and provide insight into ways to improve images for best success. \nTo celebrate the Exhibition’s opening\, a reception is held in the Booth Museum\, followed by an Awards Ceremony in the Bergman Theatre\, where winners are announced. Judges provide commentary on winning images. Additional insight follows late Fall when the judges return and critique select images submitted but not juried into the Exhibition. \n\n
