Old Car City

Old Car City in White, Georgia contains 34 acres of the world’s largest known classic car junkyard. With over 4000 American-made cars, trucks, vans and even school buses intertwined with the vegetation of the deep south, it is a photographers paradise.
Cost: $25 per person
Meet up: Plan to meet at 9:30 am at the ticket office.
Directions and Parking: Old Car City is located at 3098 US Hwy 411 NE, White, Georgia 30184, Tel: 770-382-6141. Take I-75 north. 10 miles after the Main Street Cartersville exit, take exit 293 to US Hwy 411 E for next 2 miles. Old Car City will be on the right. Parking is free.
Lunch: We will eat at another American classic, Wes Mans Restaurant, a rustic old-timey space with license plates and taxidermy at 12:00 noon. For those who want to arrive early, breakfast is also served.
Equipment: As you will have a multitude of possible shots consider a wide-ranging telephoto lens or bring both a wide angle and long lens. You may find a tripod useful.
