The Annual Exhibition

The Booth Museum hosts an Exhibition of BPG member images on public display each Fall (August 15th to November 12th). The Exhibition consists of large framed photographs hung in the Booth Museum’s Borderlands Gallery.

The Exhibition follows strict criteria. Images are juried into the Exhibition via digital submissions of up to five images per photographer. There are no photo categories. Composite photographs are welcome. Two experienced non-member judges anonymously jury/judge entries and choose winners who earn cash, ribbons, and certificates.

In the spirit of learning, Exhibition-focused mentoring sessions help members narrow down entries and provide insight into ways to improve images for best success.

To celebrate the Exhibit’s opening, a reception (Saturday, Aug. 26th 2:00-4:00) is held in the Booth Museum, followed by an Awards Ceremony in the Bergman Theatre, where winners are announced. Judges provide commentary on winning images. Additional insight follows late Fall when the judges return and critique select images submitted but not juried in.

The 2023 Exhibition was a big success. See it now.
