Join us in Cartersville at the ACT 1 Studio to photograph a ” Full Dress Rehearsal” of the musical production of ‘Death Takes a Holiday’.

The Booth Photography Guild has been invited by the ACT 1 Studio in Cartersville to photograph a full dress rehearsal of the production o ‘Death Takes a Holiday”.

 This is your opportunity to experiment photographing live on-stage actors. Be prepared for low light conditions.  Please do not use any flash and keep movement/noise to a minimal so we don’t distract the performers.

This particular theatre is smaller and will provide more closeup photos.

Date: Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025 

Note: Dress rehearsals usually last longer than they estimate

Arrival time: 6:45 pm Please meet at the theater entrance.

As soon as you are finished photographing the rehearsals the Director and performers would love for us to provide them with some photos. Those who are interested in sharing some of their images, I will gladly post them on my webpage for them to view and download. Each photographer’s images will be identified by name.

OUTING FOLLOW UP

Post Outing: After the event, show off your images. Send up to 5-10 images for the Outings Slideshow at the BPG Monthly Meeting on the second Saturday of each month. Using JPEG format, 1800 pixels tall, at least 100ppi, and saved at the highest quality, Send them to outings@boothphotographyguild.org.
