The Booth Photography Guild has been invited by the Reinhardt University Dance Department to photograph a dance “Dress Rehearsal” on the Reinhardt University (RU) campus in Waleska.
There will be a variety of dance styles to photograph. The performance will consist of mainly contemporary dance but there will also be some other dance styles such as tap, character and Jazz. There will be some large dance groups but mainly smaller groups. This is your opportunity to experiment photographing live on-stage dancers. Be prepared for low light conditions.
Date: Tuesday April 23 2024
Arrival time: 5:45pm Please arrive on time
Meeting Location: “University Theatre” on the Reinhardt University campus in Waleska. Please arrive at the front door to the theater (stand-alone building) on time so we can enter as a group.
No flash permitted. Note: The director has requested that we minimize movement during performances so that the dancers can stay focused.
Dance Styles: Mostly contemporary but some tap, character and Jazz.
Directions: The University entrance is at the junction of Reinhardt College Parkway and Baxter Drive in Waleska. If you drive in the main RU entrance, drive straight back and you’ll see a sign to the left pointing you to the University Theatre. The signage is very good so follow the signs back to the theater. The theater is a stand-alone building.

the second Saturday of each month. Using JPEG format, 1800 pixels
Tall, at least 100 ppi and saved at the highest quality. Send them to
outings@boothphotographyguild.org Images will be due by April 29
for the May 11th BPG meeting
