Join us in Cartersville at the Grand Theatre to photograph a “Dress Rehearsal” of the musical Mary Poppins.

The Booth Photography Guild has been invited by the Grand Theatre in Cartersville a second time to photograph a youth dress rehearsal of the musical Mary Poppins.

 This is your opportunity to experiment photographing live on-stage actors. Be prepared for low light conditions.  Please do not use any flash and keep movement/noise to a minimal so we don’t distract the performers.

Date: Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024 

Note: Dress rehearsals usually last longer than they estimate

Arrival time: 6 pm Please arrive on time.

Meeting Location: Grand Theatre 7 N Wall St, Cartersville, GA 30120

Please meet at the front entrance to the theater

No flash permitted.  Note: The director has requested that we minimize movement during performances so that the actors can stay focused.

As soon as you are finished photographing the rehearsals the Director and performers would love for us to provide them with some photos. Those who are interesting in sharing some of their images I will gladly post them on my webpage for them to view and download. Each photographer’s images will be identified by name.

December 11th for the December 14th BPG meeting.
